We saw the McQueens run up an £180 bill at the dog then ran out without paying...do you think they should have to pay it or get away with it?

I just don't understand why Des' mother's engagement ring only cost £180 not couple of hundreds of a thousand, its rubbish. Also dont understand why the McQueens would buy nearly 200 quid of drinks when Jacqui could've spent the money on something much better.
