Kind of sad to see 3 established characters leave like that, wasn't exactly a great exit for 3 long serving characters, will miss Jake(still had potential in the show) and Zac( had loads of potential too) and Kris(never liked him that much but he was a long time cast member too and warmed to him a bit in the last few weeks)
Sad to see them all go, I know Jake and Kris left of their own accord but why the hell was Zac axed???!!

it felt really rushed too i think, they could have had a better exit than that it was heartbreaking when michaela realised zak had left

I actually thought it was a really well done scene at the end... If their exit hadn't of being so rushed, it would've been a fantastic final scene - so simple to just have them leave on a bus...

Was a bit gutted with their rushed ending...I don't care much for Jake oe Zac but am very sad to see Kris go

The way I look at it is that all 3 characters can still return at a later date which is a big positive out of the storyline. I think Kris and Zak leaving together was a good ending but adding Jake into the mix made it one of the worst exits storyline wise for a long time. They could have easily build up the friendship between all 3 or had Jake exit as he got a decent gardening job but had to move with the job would have been more realistic. I also find it odd that they had Zoe in London giving out job/s...she left to go travelling and to see the world so I would have thought she would have still been visiting places and only seen a few sights but to have her back in the Uk so soon was just odd and didn't make any sense. I would have rather have seen Zak and Kris go out to *name a place here* to meet Zoe for a holiday...only to have them not returning because they are loving it so much and they joined her on her trip around the world etc.
Plus the fact they all left on a whim...didn't say goodbye to Mal (ok he tried but it should have been face to face) ...didn't say goodbye to Frankie or Tom etc and I hope Michaela exits too and goes to follow Zak...it is clear that she loves him still and they are meant to be together.
I think it was a cheap exit and the first thing that has made be frown in the PM era, well that and Stephs jumping up and down etc just after her op. Kevin has been it off/on for around 8 years and deserves a better exit than that....it was like he was just added into the mix at the last minute so they didn't have to 'waste time' giving him another send off.
Kevin was only returning on a temp basis anyway and Gerard wanted to leave but they should have kept Zak's character and he is one I will miss and don't think he deserved the chop. His character had loads of potential still and he could have worked alongside Nancy or something in the school.

I didn't mind kris and zak leaving even if it was a bit rushed but putting jake in there was stupid, not sure if I've ever seen him interacting with the two of them before.
I assume that was also des's last episode or am I wrong there?

Apparently it was Des' last episode as well...
As for the point about them leaving without saying goodbye - they were only going to London, not exactly the other side of the world... They'll see their friends and family regularly or talk to them, we just won't see it on the show... To be honest, it would be the equivalent of me moving from Dublin to Galway - I wouldn't make a big song and dance about as I know I can visit and phone and stuff...
I really liked it as an exit to be honest - yeah it could've been dragged out more, but people make snap decisions like that all the time in real life and just head off for a fresh start - both Zak and Jake were desperately looking for a fresh start, so it made sense for them to leave with Kris...

Yeah Des got the best exit (storyline wise) out of them all imo being arrested with Rose!

Same here
The one time I saw any interaction was when Jake(going into his breakdown storyline)pinned Kris down on a table threatening to hit him

Plus why would Stephs guilt trip even work...they are not that close to Steph either and surely as soon as they get down to London they would want to ditch Jake anyway. I can't see him wanting to be around them either. They should have made Jake get a decent job offer down there and was just sharing the bus with them and then they would go their seperate ways etc.
