CARLEY Stenson has opened up about her nose job - and says she wishes she'd had it done sooner.

The Hollyoaks actress - who recently announced she was quitting as Steph Cunningham after ten years in the soap - went under the knife 18 months ago.

She told new! magazine: "I've never liked my nose since I banged it when I was little.

"I would walk around school with my hand over my face. But I am very happy now. I just wish I'd had it done sooner.

"I hated my nose. I saw it every day. I dreaded profile shots. I was so paranoid that if people were talking to me from the side I would have to turn to face them."

And she insisted that the surgery hadn't been too painful.

She added: "Afterwards I was uncomfortable and had quite bad bruising, but I fully understood how the recovery process would be and I was lucky there were no complications so the recovery was relatively quick and pain-free."

And Carley admitted she wouldn't rule out getting more work done in the future.

She said: "I'm happy at the moment, but I would never say never. It's each to their own, although I do believe it's more attractive to grow old gracefully."
