It's hard to get invested in a couple we not actually seen get together onscreen tbh. I mean least with Prince and Zoe there was some feelings there before the one-year jump.
Peri and Abe and Robbie and Vicky clearly are couples that not meant to last really anyway.
It's like what attracted JP and Jez to one another.
Also, Jez is confusing they said he couldn't be more different to Patrick to hinting he might be worse and now he seems normal. But I still think he could easily flip again.

Jez comes across as a just sex guy to me so will be interesting to see if he has real feelings for JP.
At present I don't see any spark between them but early days. We have only had one scene Jez collecting the old food waste for the allotment, now is he was given a groundsman job at the school it would make more sense.
