Hollyoaks bosses forced me to strip to my underwear in front of everyone before shearing me like a sheep, claims star in explosive autobiography.
A Hollyoaks star has shockingly claimed he was forced to strip off by Channel 4 bosses on his first day so he could be 'sheared like a sheep' in front of his new cast mates.
Gregory Finnegan, who has played James Nightingale in the soap opera since 2016, made the bombshell claims in his upcoming autobiography, The World According to Grog, reports The Sun.
According to the publication, extracts of the memoir disclose that the 44-year-old actor was instructed to strip down to his boxers to be shaven and given a spray tan.
He recalled: 'As soon as my skin was bared, Faye [head of makeup] started to shave me. All of me. Was this necessary, I asked? 'Bryan doesn't like hair!' was the answer I was given. Exec producer Bryan Kirkwood, that was.
'This was a baptism by clippers and given that many of my new cast mates came and went in the hour or two that I was in there, an extremely exposing one.'
