A FORMER Hollyoaks star will swop her high heels for running shoes.

Actress Sarah Jayne Dunn, 28, best known for her role as Mandy Richardson in the Childwall-filmed Channel 4 soap, will join 46,000 runners in this year’s Bupa Great North Run.

The 28-year-old will complete the 13.1 mile run in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign in Newcastle on September 19.

Sarah Jayne said: “I’ve never run this race before so I’m excited for the challenge.”
