Hollyoaks actor Stuart Manning is to make his theatre debut in A Passionate Woman at the Hull Truck Theatre. Manning, who is best known for his work on the Channel 4 soap, will make the transition from television to the stage, appearing alongside Kay Mellor, who also wrote the play. Gareth Tudor Price will direct the production. A Passionate Woman was recently seen on BBC One and featured Billie Piper, Sue Johnston, Alun Armstrong and Frances Barber.
