Hollyoaks actor Stuart Manning is to make his theatre debut in A Passionate Woman at the Hull Truck Theatre.
Manning, who is best known for his work on the Channel 4 soap, will make the transition from television to the stage, appearing alongside Kay Mellor, who also wrote the play. Gareth Tudor Price will direct the production.
A Passionate Woman was recently seen on BBC One and featured Billie Piper, Sue Johnston, Alun Armstrong and Frances Barber.
The play will preview on September 10 and 11 and then run until October 2.
