PINT-SIZED pirates with a thirst for juice will soon be invading Knowsley Safari Park, as part of Barnardo’s Big Toddle, on Tuesday, July 6.
Thousands of toddlers are getting ship-shape for the short sponsored walk And for the first time, the under 5s event has a fancy dress theme – swashbuckling pirates!
Joining the waddling crew will be TV star and Barnardo’s supporter, Terri Dwyer, best known for her role in Hollyoaks.
She said: “As well as being a fantastic and fun family day out, the Big Toddle is for a great cause, helping some of the region’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable children.
"I took part last year and you can tell the kids come away full of pride at what they’ve done for other children.”
Following the event, all toddlers and parents will be able to enjoy the rest of the day at the Safari Park, and all funds raised will go towards supporting Barnardo’s Early Years work.
