Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring has denied reports that she is having twins.
Following the British Soap Awards on Saturday evening, a tabloid newspaper's online portal claimed that the 31-year-old - who plays Cindy Hutchinson in the Channel 4 soap - was surprised to discover that she is expecting two babies.
However, the actress was quick to set the record straight.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, she said: "I just want to clear up any confusion regarding my pregnancy. I'm very excited to be expecting my second child in September but can confirm that I'm not expecting twins."
She jokingly added: "There's definitely only one in there!"
It is believed that she was confused with former Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay, who is currently expecting twins with partner-of-six-years Steve White.
Waring - who is due to give birth in late September - already has a four-year-old daughter called Mia.
