So...I've just pre-ordered my tickets to my first concerts of 2012 and I was wondering whether anybody else has any concerts planned, for 2012 or the rest of 2011.....

I just got back from the aforementioned concert (Emilie Autumn) and it was absolutely amazing. Having been to quite few concerts now, they’ve sort of lost their “special-ness” but this one was…as said…absolutely amazing, such fun and now I can't wait to see her live again. :)

I went to see Architects 2 weeks ago and got Lostprophets on Tuesday. Not really into either anymore but don't get that much good artists coming up here so gotta take what you can :P

Yeh Architects were alright although their support acts were rubbish and not really into that music so didn't know any of their songs. Lost Prophets had Modestep supporting they were really good. Unfortunately Lost Prophets front man looked like he didn't want to be there and stood near the back of the stage for most of it, bit crap.

What's the best concert you've been to?

I can't narrow it down to one, I'll have to do a top five:

Alice Cooper (Sonisphere 2010 / Knebworth)
- This performance was actually during his "Theatre of Death" Tour which was amazing to see live.

Emilie Autumn (Fight Like a Girl Tour 2012 / Manchester)
- As mentioned earlier. I've seen her twice and both times would make it into a top ten, the second time was a lot better though.

MIYAVI (This Iz the Japanese Kabuki Rock -Tour 2008- / London)
- His first ever UK show and my first ever concert, I've sort of drifted away from his music in recent years but I think I'll always consider this to be one of my best, would love to see him again as well...maybe if he goes somewhere outside of London next time.....

Rammstein (Sonisphere 2010 / Knebworth)
- As with Alice, an amazing stage performance, even better than Cooper in my opinion, only thing that let it down was the crowd but still amazing.

Slipknot (Sonisphere 2011 / Knebworth)
- I've seen them twice but this second time was much better, despite it raining which actually made it better, quite emotional end to their set as well, paying tribute to their bassist Paul Gray who had died the year before.

Have you seen any others besides Architects and Lostprophets?

that's quite a heavy bands Slipknot could imagine they'd be something to see live. em seen a few Blink 182, Lionel Richie, Biffy Clyro, Alexisonfire, Chase and Status, The View, Foo Fighters, Jamie Cullum, Example, Ladytron and went to a Clubland gig that had like Ultrabeat, Flip and Fill and N Dubz. Away to see Annie Mac this weekend so that should be good :) Total mix of stuff really. Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters probs been my favourite.

I've seen Biffy Clyro too, they played at Sonisphere the same year that Slipknot did. I hadn't really listened to them before that but they were great live.
