The Third Series of Misfits starts on Sunday, is else anybody a fan? Will you be watching the new Series?

Here's the trailer:

Even though my favourite character is no longer in the show, this Series looks pretty good so I will definitely be watching the new Series, Rudy actually looks to be a good character from the trailer as well.

I'm interested in seeing why they're on community service again and who the blonde girl in the orange jumpsuit at 0:20 is.

I watched series one which was awesome but sadly missed the second series! The trailer looks good and new characters are interesting.

Every episode is on 4oD if you ever feel like watching them, including "Vegas Baby!" which was just an online episode anyway.....

I'll be watching this. Don't know how its going to be without Nathan. I thought he was the best out of all of them.

I agree, Series One was very Nathan-centric but the other characters started to come into their own in Series Two. This Series could easily be focused around Simon, I hope it isn't too much though.

Just remembered that at least some of them will have new powers for this Series, any ideas what they'll get? I think it's Alisha and Curtis that definitely have to get new powers but apparently Kelly and Simon get them too and then there's Rudy of course.....

What is a brief summery of series two? They all decided to sell their powers or something? or was that the end of series one? Haha minds all muddled!

New characters with new powers sound good.

At the start of the Series, they dig up Nathan (after finding out that he's alive) and that Simon killed Sally, they get a new probation worker and Superhoodie makes more appearences.

Simon follows Superhoodie back to a flat after he saves Nathan from being killed (he was briefly mortal because of a pill that he took), he takes the rest of the Misfits there but it turns out that Nikki (a girl that Curtis saw in a flash-forward) lives there, not Superhoodie. Also, part of Nathan's power is that he can see the recently deceased as well as being immortal.

Alisha tries to draw out Superhoodie by purposely getting herself in danger, she is taken back to his lair after falling down some stairs and it turns out that he is Simon from the future, they’re in a relationship in the future and that the Misfits go public with their powers, becoming known as the “ASBO 5”, he asks her to keep this from the rest of the Misfits.

Ollie (who can teleport) joins community service but he is killed soon after, Nikki (who's in need of a heart transplant) gets his heart and his powers, Tim (the guy that killed Ollie) shoots at Alisha, Future Simon takes the bullet and he asks Alisha to burn his body when he dies so he can't be identified.

A cafe worker named Brian descovers that he can manipulate dairy products and goes public with his powers, the Misfits talk about doing the same but are overheard by Shaun (the probation worker) tells the media about them. The Misfits (except for Simon) and Nikki are taken to a hotel where other people with powers are staying including Daisy (a girl that can cure disease, injury or disability).

Jealous that he isn’t getting any attention anymore, Brian begins to kill others with his ability, he kills Daisy, Laura (the woman that took them there), Kelly, Alisha, Nikki and leaves Nathan brain dead (since he can't kill him). He attempts to kill Curtis (but he's lactose intolerant) so Brian attempts to stab him instead but ends up stabbing an invisible Simon, Curtis then rewinds time until before all this happened, the Misfits then go to Brian's house and Curtis punches him in the face (we don't see what happens after that) and they finish their community service. Simon also found out about his future self.

It's Christmas and most of the Misfits now have jobs, Alisha/Simon and Curtis/Nikki are now together and Nathan meets a pregnant girl called Marnie. They all sell their powers to Seth (Simon is reluctant but does so anyway) who sells some powers (including Alisha's and Nikki's) to Elliot, a vicar that starts conning people, telling them that he is Jesus. Luke (who works for Elliot) robs the bar where Alisha and Curtis work and shoots Nikki (killing her), the Misfits go back to Seth to get their powers but he's already sold Curtis' (to a Jewish man that wanted to kill Hitler) and they don't have enough money anyway.

They go back to the community centre and try to steal Elliot's money, he stops them but kills himself in the process, Marnie gives birth and the Misfits go back to Seth with money, he says that they can choose from the powers that he has left.

I think that covers all the main points of the Series. :D

Wow thanks for all the info, I am wondering if I have seen bits of series 2 now then because the preg girl sounds familiar as does the selling powers and can't get them back bits.

So at the moment then nobody has any powers they are deciding what to have back out of whats left? and has only 1 power already been sold?

No problem. :) You may have just seen the Christmas Special then, that's when they met Marnie and sold their powers.

The Christmas Special ended with the Misfits waiting to get their powers from Seth, Kelly steps forward first, in a Series 3 clip she mentions that she doesn't like her new power.

I think they'll all have their new powers at the start of Series 3. Alisha and Curtis' were already sold on so they couldn't get them back anyway, as mentioned above, Kelly says she doesn't like her new one and Future Simon could travel back in time so maybe that's what he gets. Also, in "Vegas Baby!" we see that Nathan got the power of magic.

Edit: Just watched a clip on the website and it has Nathalie Emmanuel (Sasha Valentine from Hollyoaks) in it.

I've only watched the second series of Misfits.

I am going to watch the first series but I just haven't got round to it!

I'm so excited for series 3! I can't wait to see how Simon and Alisha develop as a couple and I'm quite excited to see Simon becoming the awesome masked guy. I really hope they find a way to stop him from dying though.

I'm really gutted that Nathan is no longer in it though :/ But the new guy seems pretty cool too.
