Yeah he seems to really care for Jasmine but is still confused by Jason. I think he pulled back from kissing Ruby too and made an excuse to why they couldn't hang out.

He Only Pulled away from Kissing Ruby because he was scared that The Police will see them together and Know that He was Driving the Car that Hit Jasmine/Jason.

I think he pulled away becuase of all his confused feelings about Jasmin/Jason too

I feel very sorry for Bart because He fell in love with Jasmine and He ends Up only being Friends with Jason.

I think Barts excuse would stand more ground like if they were at the bus stop in hollyoaks (in public) but as they were inside Rubys place it was more of him pulling back because of Jas and having conflicted feelings.

everytime Bart is around Jasmine/Jason You can see that he still has Feels for Him/Her.

Bart isn't gay and thats the problem. Really Bart and Jason can only ever be friends because of this. It must be very hard for him, but hopefully over time the pair of them can work things out and become again the friends they once were.
