In 2007 it is revealed Suzanne slept with her husband's brother, Noel and got pregnant with Rhys...this rocks the family and Hannah and Josh grow distant from her, devastating her. Howver as Nev and Suzanne patch up their differences Josh and Hannah rebuild their relationship with her
Suzanne becomes suspicious of Hannah and her friend, Melissa Hurst believing them to be on drugs, however, Hannah has developed Anorexia, Suzanne bans Melissa from the house. In a desperate attempt to get the truth Suzanne sneaks in to Hannah's room and finds hidden food and a diary
Some time later Suzanne gets a call from a panicked Josh telling her Hannah and Melissa are planning to run away together, Suzanne arrives home and attempts to stop the two girls from leaving when Melissa collapses from a heart attack, Suzanne desperately tries to resuscitate Melissa but she dies leaving Hannah distraught.
Suzanne is determined to help her daughter conquer her eating disorder but one day she finds som rotting food under a floorboard. Realising Hannah needs help she can not give Suzanne and Neville have to have Hannah sectioned
In 2009 Suzanne suspects Hannah of having a relapse after she finds food stashed in her room, It was put there by Ash Roy who wanted revenge for Hannah dumoing him and dating Justin Burton. Although Suzanne tries to discourage Hannah from seeing Justin it doesn't work and later Ash confesses that he put the food in Hannah's room
Suzanne and family are shocked when Hannah drunkenly marries Darren Osborne, she pushes Hannah to get an annulment but this prompts Hannah to stick at the marriage and gets closer to Darren. At this point Suzanne and Nev's teenage godson, Duncan Button arrives to stay-he has an obvious crush on Suzanne which she quickly quells. She also supports Hannah through another relapse and her exit from the village
When Josh is arrested for driving a car whilst drunk(his drink was spiked by Rhys)Neville disowns him but Suzanne promises to support her son thus causing arguements with her husband and is horrified when Neville reports Josh to the police and this results in Josh going to prison
At Calvin Valentine and Carmel McQueen's wedding Suzanne sleeps with Darren and the two start an affair, however, they are caught by Rhys who tells Neville everything. Neville angrily kicks Suzanne out of the family home and she ends up staying with Darren, Cindy and Holly, Darren could only look on as Suzanne and Cindy bickered.Eventually Nev and Suzanne reconcile and she, along with Nev and Josh, drive out of Hollyoaks to start a new life in Spain
In January 2011 Suzanne returns to Hollyoaks and tells Nancy and Darren Neville is divorcing her for being pregnant with Darren's babies, a few days later she gives birth to her twins during Tony's Spa opening. Her and the twins move in with Darren. Cindy offers her £100, 000 to leave Hollyoaks so Cindy can have Darren, Suzanne says she'll go if the price is doubled, Cindy complies with the request and Suzanne leaves for Spain taking the twins with her and leaving Darren devastated
