Has Hollyoaks ever done a cult storyline?
CULT 1.A system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object. 2.A relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister.
If they did do one, which character/s would you like to see involved?

I'd love that SL, could almost be as good as the Silas plot...they did it in Brookie in the late 80's/early 90's to great success, I think it would be a great storyline, as far as who'd be involved I'd say someone fairly gullible, there aren't seemingly that many gullible people in Oaks......maybe Liberty, Texas or Leanne? Maybe, Finn, give him a story

Who did they do it with in Brookie?
Yeah either someone gullible or someone who has lost everything and possibly has nobody else to turn to...maybe Mercy could be disowned/broke/vunerable and they could take advantage of that and give her a purpose where as she would have none before after losing everything.
I remember in them doing a few cult storylines in home and away and they were always good.

Mercy would be good, but she is possibly a bit too savvy to be drawn in by a cult, Carmel might get suckered into one, a younger character would probably be best...I think Texas would be the best candidate

I think initially they could just be friends and a safe place for her to stay they could easily drug her so she was not all there and maybe they preyed upon her because she was a bad mother and wanted to "help" her and "rescue" Bobby.
The thing with the younger characters would concern me as I am not sure which one would be able to carry it off. Texas' mum was quite hippy like so it could work with Texas. In a way I wish Lynsey was alot less smart then we could have had the cult of Silas at work following his orders from within prison lol.
