Hope this thread hasn't been done before and that I'm not stepping on anybodies toes.

Jambo, as played by Will Melor from 1995 until 1998, was the original Joker of the pack.He was always playing pranks and getting into all sorts of trouble.He was the most eccentric person the village has ever had, he preferred to enter places via the window and he drove a Bond Bug, he even had a name for it..Beryl.
Most of his storylines revolved around his friendship with Kurt and Tony,or comedy subplots about being unlucky in love.He did also get some serious stories,his relationship with Dawn Cunningham and her death from leukaemia.

Does anybody else remember him,or have any cool pics?

Remember Max and OB in the early days holding Beryl hostage!

Remember his bleached blonde hair he reminded me of Bazz sometimes.

Dawns death was so emotional and really the love of his life he was unlucky with the ladies and she stole his heart. Remember him coming back to lay flowers on Dawns grave and then vowed never to return!

Remember him coming back as a ghost to see Tony to stop him being a humbug and Tony had to ring him to check he was still alive. Also remember the text he said to Tony on his 30th saying he couldn't make the suprise party.

He was the kind of character that could do anything and get away with it. Will originally auditioned for the role of Kirk.





How did Carol end up with Beryl? Did Jambo give her it when he was leaving?

Have you got a pic of when he came back in 2004 as a 'ghost' to show Tony his past, present and future?

If I have I haven't come across it yet, any idea when in 2004 he came back?
