Laura's brother Brendan arrived and reffered to Laura as 'Kerry'but Laura refused knowledge of him, Mandy became suspicious about Laura and when rejecting her offer to go to Cape Town Laura hit Mandy with a bottle

Laura held Mandy in the flat however Tony, Becca, Max, Adam and Brendan came to her rescue, it was revelaed LAura was using her dead friend's name as her own after seeing her die when she was young. Laura was taken away to a Institution and neve rheard from again

What are your thoughts on Laura's character?

I loved her character, one of the best female baddies I think along with Clare and Loretta. She was another character that made a big impact on a short time in the soap. Remember her trying to replace Mandy in a way after Lewis commited suicide and became close to Helen, remember her scattering Lewis' ashes with the family...Mandy went crazy!

She was very controlling over what Mandy did and who with and always wanted her to spend time only with herself. She enjoyed causing problems for Mandy so Mandy would have to lean on her even more and she enjoyed when Mandy and Luke grew apart as she could have Mandy all for herself. Remember them kissing in some weird golden outfit with their hair braided like twins which gave her the wrong impression and she was even more possesive over Mandy. Think it was a last minute thing when someone didn't turn up. Towards the end Mandy knew something wasn't right and played along in order to try keep Laura happy and herself safe.

She was a very Loretta type character...very unique looking girl, not the usual beauty type but quite attractive in a different sense

Do you think Mandy and her look similar? Not in the 1st pic but in general? Even though she was a bad character you kind of felt for her in the end when you found out the true reason behind her controling ways.

Yea I felt bad, she had been through a lot of trauma, doi you think she should of been mentioned again?

Not really no once she was away and Mandy was free again there was no need to mention her. Her job was done and there wasn't really anymore to say.

She was normal at first, it seemed, her 1st storyline was her fending off the advances of a rather smitten Tony, I can't remember when the obsession with Mandy started though
