Robin to Max's Batman, OB, although first seen as a sidekick, really came into his own with the sheer brilliance of his friendship with Max, on screen the two shined and although in amongst a lot of comedy and light relief storylines OB also found himself embroiled with darker SL's such as Mel Burton, throughout her alcohol addiction to her untimely death at he hands on Sam Owen and getting mixed up with the evil Claire Devine as she attempted to kill Max and of course cradling Max in his arms as Max was dying
I always hoped OB would made sporadic returns, especially for Steph's funeral(why he wasn't there was baffling) I think a week every so often would boost the show as OB was extremely popular, saying that I think his exit was sad and very poignant but it was a nice touch with OB "seeing" Max and waving goodbye to Steph and Tom
What did you think of OB's exit and what did you think of his character?

OB is one of Hollyoaks all time greats,Darren Jeffries nailed the comedy sidekick role,he also shone every time he was given a serious storyline. His friendship with Max was great, but it was even better when they fell out, like when Max failed to believe him over Claire. It is a real shame OB doesn't pop back an visit Tom from time to time, suppose it is understandable though, any sane person would want to be as far from that harbinger of death as possible.

I'm not 100% certain but I don't think OB(or Max) were on the potholing trip
I liked OB and Mel's relationship, I think his best female pairing, I always remember the realism OB portrayed when he found Mel dead after The Dog explosion...very sad

Is it Max in the picture with them? I thought it was that Jamie guy. Max as a ghost for OBs exit.

On second look it was Jamie, sorry :/ did OB go on the potholing trip then? Now I think about it I think OB did but Max didn't for some reason...although it is one of my favourite episodes I have forgotten who went-was it Ben, Jamie, Theo, OB and........can't remember the last one, was it Dan/Jake?

I think Max was there too and the other one was Kristian. Don't think Dan or Jake went.

Max was there? Lol, always involved in the thick of danger only to get killed in a car accident I don't remember Max being there and I thought that Kristian found them needing help but was not on the trip....damn memory, I wish the potholing eps were on YouTube or on a 'best of Hollyoaks' DVD. Those DVD's would sell like hot cakes if ever made...
