A true hollyoaks great, Mal was a man's man he loved his brother and was loyal to his friends, what did you think of Mal's exit and what did you think of his character?

i quite liked his character and didnt deserve all the crap he got from mercedes, his exit was very emotional i thought

He was quite a popular character but apart from the HIV SL he did nothing for me. I wasn't crazy about his character and was quite annoyed that he shared a death scene with the legendary Steph....lol...should have all been about Steph for me. Highlight was slapping Mercy in HOL 2010 so wrong yet so right similar to the OB/Clare punch.

Aww that last pic is sad, I really liked Mal and although he wasn't around long I think viewers will ALWAYS remember Mal and Mercy, however, I think that Mal shouldn't of died and he should of just left Mercedes sobbing in a heap on the floor as he got on a bus and was never seen again

It is odd how they now portray Riley as the love of Mercys life because Mal was more of a match for her. Hope Riley can do what others cannot...dump her and don't get back with her! Stay strong Riley!

I could barely hold myself together during Mal's death scene, when Kris and Mercedes and everyone else were saying goodbye to him before they turned off his life support.

I hated how they had Mercy get with Riley so soon after Mal's death, really portrayed her as an even bigger slut and Riley being the love of Mercedes' life is wrong, I think it should and always be Mal-they just had chemistry

i agree with Melody too when they were saying goodbye to Mal and that awful scene when he had seemingly survived and gave Mercedes a hug then she turned around and he was still in the hospital bed
