Voting for the 2012 All About Soap Awards opens on Tuesday and the nominations list has been revealed today.

EastEnders leads the way with nine nominations, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks each have seven, while Emmerdale has six.

For the Aussie soaps, Home and Away has secured two nods, while Neighbours has one.

Voting will open on Tuesday, February 14 via the All About Soap website and an awards form in the magazine's next issue. The poll closes on Monday, February 27 and the winners will be announced in the magazine next month.

I'd be very shocked if Jeff Rawle did not pick up the award for best villian.

Emmet Scanlan has a good chance to pick up both best actor.

Think Claire will be an outside chance for best actress.
