Hollyoaks star Bronagh Waugh would love to star in Downton Abbey.
The soap actress - who plays brash student Cheryl Brady in the Channel 4 show - recently threw a lavish masquerade ball to celebrate her 30th birthday - and got a taste for period costume.
Bronagh joked to Inside Soap magazine: "Maybe my next gig will be on Downton Abbey. I'm hoping the casting directors will see the pictures of me from my birthday and say, 'Do you know what? She'd look brilliant next to Dame Maggie Smith!'
"That would be a dream come true."
Meanwhile in Hollyoaks, Cheryl is mourning the death of her friend Lynsey Nolan, and after Emmett J Scanlan, who plays Cheryl's brother Brendan recently hinted he could be heading for a dramatic end, she could lose him too.
Bronagh said: "Cheryl's world would crumble if Brendan died, she's such a strong woman, but pretty much everyone in her life has passed away."
But Cheryl and Brendan need to repair their relationship after she caught her bad boy brother chopping up a dead body.
Bronagh said: "Blood is thicker than water and I hope Cheryl wouldn't let anything stand in the way of that. But Brendan has done some terrible things so he's got a lot of work to do if he wants to build bridges with his sister."
