HOLLYOAKS stars took part in a charity football match to support a brave toddler who is fighting cancer.

Actors Nick Pickard, Charlie Clapham, Ayden Callaghan and James Atherton were among the celebrities raising money for three-year-old Francesca Allen, who was diagnosed with leaukeamia in August.

The Burslem youngster was at the match with mum Karen and dad Rob, at Kidsgrove Athletic football ground yesterday.

Karen, aged 43, said: "I was really shocked when I heard they were organising this match for Frankie, especially with it being the stars of Hollyoaks.
