Here's an obcure one

Mark arrived in Hollyoaks in search of his ex girlfriend Jessica Harris, he is keen to resume their relationship and is thrilled when Jess agrees but he discovers Jessica is seeing Gilly Roach too Mark isn't happy and competes for Jessica's affection with Gilly....just as Jessica dumps them both

Humiliated by the rejection Mark considers leaving Uni to escape from Jessica however, Olivia talks him out of it and instead Mark transfers to another University and leaves Jessica behind.

Another potentially great character that wasn't able to shine, what are your thoughts on Mark's character?

Jess was always on the phone to him when she first arrived in Hollyoaks they were quite serious but grew apart she wrote him a letter saying they should break up and she was with Gilly for a bit. Mark didn't get the letter as he was on his way to oaks as she sent it. When he turned up Jess was dating them both for a bit and tried to get the letter back. Think his mum or whoever sent it down as she knew he was staying down with Jess. This was during the time she had meningitis and couldn't pick she ended u dumping them both lol.



Was he quite posh/well spoken? Have a feeling he was and Gilly was rather scruffy/common.

Yes very well spoken and well dressed, Mark was a complete juxtaposition to Gilly who was quite unkempt and scruffy in his appearance lol
