If at some point they start filming which 3 characters stories would you like to see in lockdown?

It will be interesting to see if the coronavirus will be addressed in Hollyoaks, it was announced that Emmerdale are going to recognise it, not as a plot but just as an existing issue
I have a horrible feeling that Maxine would be focused in an isolation storyline

I think they would have the show someone older - Nana or Jack? Someone at Dee Valley in the thick of it all. A death?!
Business wise it would be interesting - the dog closed, Tony could do deliveries, price slice remains open etc

It'd be interesting to see if the acknowledge it as an issue, if they do a storyline on it it might hit a nerve of people who've had family and/or friends who have been affected, but I think Nana would be a good one, does she live at The Dog?

I think she potters between the dog and the McQueens as it suits haha. I don't think they could not highlight the issue.

I watched the two Emmerdale episodes and thought they were quite boring. The Lydia and Sam one was awful. The Cain one was a bit better.

Hollyoaks is usually good at episodes where it is just a few people so I think they would do it better but after seeing Emmerdale anyone could do it better.

I'm thinking some soaps won't acknowledge it, Corrie maybe, Hollyoaks perhaps
Emmerdale bosses probably thought it was a good idea, all it really did was remind us that we are living through this in reality, I know soaps are supposed to symbolize realism in some aspects, like affairs, marriages, death (something Hollyoaks takes a little too far) but at the end of the days soaps are a bit of escapism for people, people who want to forget about coronavirus for half an hour and not have it shoved down their throats on TV as well. Every episode of the news is about it, there are specials on ITV and BBC about it, on a soap we want to not think about it for a while.
