OMG how young did Jack look. Rob Hawthorne and young Cindy and Mandy as teens. Another great classic episode. Wish they showed the Stan and Ollie crash though rather than just a flashback with Kurt in a car.
Was nice to see some scenes in Chester we don't get enough of that these days.
The Old Crypt where Rob and Lucy were drinking, the pub settings were so much better back then.

Loved it, would love them to go even further back though. :jig:

I literally marked out when I saw the rolling credits from 1997, younger Jack, Sol, the classic Kurt and Ruth, Rob freakin' Hawthorne, teenage Mandy and Cindy, the settings, the old incidental music...HO was so much better back then, while not quite at its 2000-2006 boom when it was bringing in lots of viewing figures (and my personal favourite years), the 1995-1999 years were very important in the legacy of the show...not forgetting the legend himself - Mr. C was in tonight's episode :)

I want them to go further back too, I thought the first episode of Hollyoaks was a definite. I want to see more like they did with Clare, instead of having three consecutive episodes, chronicle a characters best bits over the years, it makes more sense

Even when Hollyoaks comes back 5 episodes a week they could still continue Favourites at half 7 on E4 maybe, I know they probably won't but I love seeing old episodes, it reminds me of good times in my life seeing them

Tony having 3 ladies on the go and having 3 Xmas dinners - loved it!
Forgot how naggy Ruth can be.
Dawns death so emotional.
Mr C - legend. I hope they show him rapping with Max and OB - they HAVE to.
Seeing Lewis was amazing and Rob Hawthorne.

Max, OB and Mr. C doing the "Get Down Off That Thing" is possibly my favourite Mr. C moment, I remember the three of them in matching tracksuits, lol, did they tour or something? My memory of the storyline is a little hazy
Ruth is tremendously whiney, don't remember that about her
Lewis was always a fave character of mine
Rob as a "good guy" before he went evil...I really want a Rob Hawthorne chronicle - the water tank episodes and the explosion on the bus

Down the line I hope we get some Ben and Lisa stuff

I think the record ended up being a flop but they got it played at the club.

I would love to see Mr C chasing Max in the lake again and some Mr C and Bombhead scenes. Bens stag do would be great and Lisa self harming. When Mr C was high at the festival would be another classic moment.

It would be good to see the old Yard where the bus was.

I miss Max and OB.

Or Mr. C's stag do (Flash) or when Ben accidentally climbed into bed with him, lol

I miss Max and OB too, they were a huge part of the show. Reliving Max's death was awful
