I'm sure 2018 had the biggest death count (16) I'm sure by December 31st 2019 we will have a very similar number of deaths
I'd be pleasantly surprised if we only got a few deaths this year, 2 or 3, but as Hollyoaks is obviously the most deadliest village in the world coupled with how much Hollyoaks writers love death/murder storylines I doubt that will happen

Maybe Breda kills Mercy off as she falls pregnant by Liam. That would be a shock and I would be ok with killing off Mercedes if it saved Tony.

Mercedes is a big star on the show, I can't see her getting killed. I do think Liam will be a victim when Breda finds out he may be the father of Mercy's baby.
Side note, but I doubt that Breda knows that Jack got his daughter's sixteen year old best friend pregnant with a baby she gave up. I would love for that to come up at some point. i don't want Jack to die, but that could be Breda's last attempted murder when her story comes to an end. It's a big plot point in his history to ignore with Breda's issues.
