Has male prostitution been mentioned/done before? I think it would be interesting with a straight character who just desperately needs money.

Hmm good question! I have a vague recollection of it being done in a late night spin off but not with someone straight. What character would you want for that?

Ehh, that's a good question. I can't see anyone in the current cast. Maybe Cameron if he gets really desperate? Or someone really young like Robbie?

Yeah its a tough one, I can't think of many characters for it either. Robbie would be good but nmot sure he would need the cash? I could see someone doing it for drugs money maybe Lockie, didn't he have a drugs issue previously? or was he just a dealer?

I remember them touching on male prostitution with Norman Sankofa back at the turn of the millennium. After Theo died in the great potholing disaster of 2002, Norman was homeless for months, in that time I remember him being propositioned by seedy men in cars.
It would be great if they did that sort of story with someone like Jason, with his eating disorder and all the issues with his family, he would be a prime target for that sort of exploitation, if they wanted to make the story really dark. They could also go down a different route and have Ziggy become a male prostitute instead of Jason.
With Ziggy they could either go down the lighter route and have him offered escort work on the back of his modeling, gradually showing him go gay for pay.
Or they could even start it as a light Ziggy filler story, then have it get progressively darker, delving into the murky and dangerous life of a rent boy.

Wow, never thought of Ziggy! That's a good idea. Although I LOVE Fabrizio, I'm not sure he'll super be able to handle it haha. Maybe since it's going to be revealed about Cameron killing the Lomaxes and thus inevitably will have to either be on the run or get caught, he could be a potential option. Although now Dylan could be a good prospect. _________________
