Hollyoaks Behind Bars special would be pretty awesome.
They could also do a big prison break and release lots of bad guys from the past at once.
I think Jacqui's frienemie Trudy would be fun for another go around, but with Jacqui gone she'd have to go after someone else. Phoebe would make sense given her connection to Jacqui.
I'm imagining how epic the Brendan/Ste jailbreak sex would be.

Brendan would be top dog by now hopefully and could see him stealing peoples dinners (he always liked his food!) taking the newbies chocolate bars etc.

Shame Ste hasn't tried to contact him or send him letters, I think they should have had a scene where Stes letters got returned unopened by BB.

I totally could see BB stealing food from the weaker prisoners
I would've liked to have had Ste get letters returned, or for him to go to the prison only to learn that BB wouldn't see him.
I do think they did a good shop of showing Ste's downward spiral since BB left. Ste was very nice and respectable for awhile there, but after BB went down he's been a real mess, dealing, nearly getting arrested himself, and just generally showing a real self destructive attitude. Even this whole reunion with Doug comes across to me as Ste being spiteful and taking Doug from JP just to prove he can. That whole nausiating scene where he calls Doug his wife when Doug is taking care of him, the whole scene just soured me on whatever remnants of goodwill I had towards Stug as a couple. Poor Doug deserves so much better, but he was only ever a speedbump for Stedan, and now in their aftermath, he's Ste's consolation prize.

When it comes to Doug I always think they should have never turned him gay. It didn't sit right at all, was very rushed and shoddy.

as soon as Doug and Ste started working together I thought they were hinting that Doug was falling for Ste. but then I was never invested in Doug being straight anyways.

I REALLY liked their friendship it had poential to be really good but they ruined it by turning things romantically.

I did get a laugh out of Leah naming all the ducks at the pond, and one of them was Brendan. It's nice to see that Leah hasn't forgotten Daddy Brendan. The Brendan duck was bullying the Doug duck too lol
I really enjoyed Ste having an honest conversation about Brendan with Leah, acknowledging that he missed Brendan. Little character moments like that do give the story more depth.
